Cat/winged liner

Ladies, let’s talk about a very sensitive subject: Cat eyeliner

How is your technique? Do you use a pen, a pencil, a liquid brush?

Are you able to do them quickly and do you like something bold or something more discreet?

I’d say Im generally pretty good, I absolutely hate the pencil. So I either use a pen or a liquid brush. Lately I’m really loving the liquid brush as it looks better… tho they rarely look like twins more like sisters

Currently got L’Oréal felt pen, and ELF brush and ELF felt pen.

I have one of those pointy felt pens ans it's definitely been the easiest thing for me. Close second is the gel eyeliner in a pot with an angled brush. I'm really good at the right side but the left never seems to go as well .

I use cats eye pen by soap and glory.

I've a magnifying mirror , rest my elbow on a table, pull my lid tight a little and work from the outer corner to the inside.

I can do it super quick now and find it easier to achieve symmetry or close to.

Waterproof feltliner is what I use, don't do it often though, hooded eyes so as soon as I open them all the effort is hidden

My eyeliner is the cheapest one but it works a charm I love it. It’s from “collection” and it lasts ages the little applicatior it comes with is perfect for me can do a cat eye or a full on Winehouse style wing. I can’t get on with pencils at all.

I use MAC liner, which comes in a small pot, and use a MAC thin brush to apply it.

However it’s a hit or a miss. I wouldn’t say I’m great with it really, and don’t have a set technique.

Years of practice, I tend to go for pencil usually Urban Decay 27/7 glide pencil. Sometimes I go for Bare Minerals or Kat Von D tattoo liner. I've tried using brushes etc but just doesn't work for me.

I run a mile from any woman with eye make-up or false lashes. Not averse to discreetly tattooed eyebrows on darker skin.

Gently kissing closed eyes is a favourite activity of mine. One of several reasons I prefer the natural look.

"Has anyone tried the semi permanent one that is tattooed on? Bet Annie might have had hers done "

I've had it. Quite a few years ago now though. I keep considering getting it topped up, but I haven't been able to face doing it again! I looked like I'd been smacked with a brick for the first couple of days! It was pretty cool after that though. Now it's faded to a bluish/grey so I have to wear liner to cover it, but it acts as a good guide.

Another hooded eye gal here, but I LOVE winged eyeliner. I spent years and tried multiple different types.

It is possible for us hooded eye ladies to wear it, look up bat wing eyeliner technique, it's a game changer!!

I find the felt pen ones suit me best, and are easiest to use.

I actually got them in a free give away. I think the company were just starting out and trying to get online reviews so all the packaging is plain but according to my emails, the company is called fasty lash. I got the natural ones. The lashes in the inner eye were a bit long for my liking but I just trimmed them a bit so they more graduated and now they're perfect. I do my eyeliner with my normal eyeliner pen and then just put a thin line of the magnetic eyeliner over the top along the lash line. Then when it's dry I get the lashes with some tweezers and they snap right on. The eyeliner tube is small enough to put in my bag in case I need to fix them but so far they've lasted all night.

I have some Lola’s but I used them once as they were kinda too much.

So I switched to cheaper magnetic ones from Amazon and just trimmed the ends and used to put the very end only to my eye to give a fuller look.

Now I rarely put falsies and just use a Dior mascara as I’ve got quite long lashes anyways so it gives me a similar effect without the falsies. I’m not a total fan of the magnetic liquid eyeliner so x

But it’s amazing how the lashes magically stick on your eyelid
