It’s kicking my arse. Woman down

Massively unwell. I had my tonsils removed when I was 16 but there’s spots on the scars I’m a snotty grumpy coughing shivering mess.

Send tlc and sympathy.

I’ve done all the usual honey and lemon etc just gotta put my big girl pants on and ride it out. Hate this time of year!

Anyone else in their sick bed? Budge Over let’s share body heat.

Bonus points for the best joke to cheer me up.

I've got a nasty cold, so snotty, ears hurt aswell as throat, coughing and chest is rattling and wheezy. Slightly high temp, aching in general. Keep doing LFT to make sure it's not covid.

Today we are putting the Christmas tree up and the decorations, maybe watch a film after

Had that for 10 days and still got some symptoms 4 weeks on . It stays in your nose for ages . Few of us at work have had it . Bloody awful bug . Was funny as it was man flu until a few women got it then I was considered ill

There is lots of bronchial viruses going around at the atm which is a pain. I'm dealing with stress related fatigue atm, but the end is in sight

Have lots of fluids and bed rest lovely

I’ve always sworn on orange juice with bits

Plenty of vitamin c, lots of easily digestible calories, easy to get it down.

Normally if I catch myself feeling ill early enough I’ll replace all my water with orange juice for a day or 2 and it almost always stops the illness in its tracks

When you feel shit your less likely to stay hydrated or eat enough. Fuel your body to fight the illness and try to go out for a walk if you can

I used to wear a warm scarf around my neck or a compress before bed. Not medicinal value perhaps.. but more of a comfort one.

Rest is very important for recovery so just indulge in naps and let your immunity do its warrior job.

We have such shit immune systems due to not socialising etc for so long now it feels like any bug we get is like 1000 x worse

Oh sweetheart sorry to hear. I suffer with chronic fatigue so I can relate. Sometimes the simplest task floors me. I need lie downs after a shower. Hope you get lots of rest xx

I’ve been ill with this horrible lurgy for almost a month now! Today is the first day where I’ve actually felt more human, normally I crack on when I’m ill but this has completely floored me! I hope you get better very soon Miss pc

Just had to take a PCR test. Made the guy laugh when I didn’t gag on the throat swab. Think I disgraced myself haha! Still feeling crappy x
