So has anyone else got an advent calendar and if so did you get anything special ?

Mrs Nuru surprised me with the Tiny Rebel Beer calendar. It’s epic, 25 cans of beer, each one specially brewed and unique to the calendar. And the box itself is a work of art

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I don't have one and I haven't bought any this year.

I did buy a Gin advent calendar for someone one year.

And, many years ago I started the Fabvent calendar.

My lovely daughter buys me one. In the past I have had one from the Bodyshop and also a No7 one. Last year and this year she handed me a large gift bag of 25 invidual wrapped gifts of things she knew I liked. She is very kindhearted.

What’s the fabvent calendar?"

25 people volunteered to put up a special Fab picture for their day. I can't find my original link as someone posted a thread for each day more recently.

Yes a great idea. Each gift last year was things she knew I liked such as body butter, lip gloss, my favourite deodorant etc, all wrapped in Paddington bear Xmas paper. I was really touched by her thoughtfulness.

I don’t have one. I did text my mum saying I didn’t realise you only love your children for the first 28 years because as soon as they turn 29 you clearly stop.

She called me ‘dramatic’

Never pay full price, they always get reduced to £1 at some point in the run up to Dec 1st!

I don't have one..

Ideally I'd like 3, a chocolate one, one with a small (ish) bottle of wine per day and one with a different hot guy to kiss each night.

I just buy chocolate advent calendars rather than the more costly yet lovely treat ones.

I have dairy milk, Mr NBVN has milk chocolate but I bought his because it has a pic of solar system on from because he is a geek, my son has a haribos and my daughter has a white chocolate.

I recall the wonderful scent from the box when he gave it to me, unfortunately now my sense of smell has temporarily left me, so I can't smell anything.
