Are Christmas lights starting to go up where you live?

I think the weekend just finished was the start of the putting up Christmas lights season around here, noticed tonight quite a few houses with a tree in the window or lights on.

I think next weekend will be a big weekend for it too when we actually get into December.

Have you got yours up yet or have you noticed them going up all around you? I like it, it cheers up the dismal evenings

Yeah lights seem to be going up around here. Our tree and lights went up today and our town had the switch on Wednesday just gone.

Neighbours put their lights up a week or so ago and the town centre ones were switched on at the weekend.

Ours went up at the weekend. Most of my friends and family have had theirs up for a couple of weeks.

"Ours went up at the weekend. Most of my friends and family have had theirs up for a couple of weeks."

Last year there were loads up around here in Mid November probably due to lockdown but this year it’s all gone back to almost normal again. Some around here kept them up until the end of January!

We’ve had ours up for a couple of weeks. The local towns have had their light switch on. Nice to see them on x

Paradise, Herts

Ours went up yesterday and then went down for the lights turning on in the village. It was brilliant. Stalls, fair rides, singers. And it snowed

My streets residents have no taste. There’s some truly awful lighting going on. It looks more like Vegas than festive.

That sounds really festive! The snow would have made it magical I’m jealous x
