Why don’t you volunteer at a food bank.

Use your limitless budget to help people and get a better sense of satisfaction than just going on holiday.

A big hotel that's putting on a massive Christmas celebration. I'd stick to the UK given recent developments

I'd be wary of booking anything abroad at the moment.

See what's on in a city in the UK.

I'd like to spend Christmas in a see through igloo in the North of Sweden or Norway.

I always go to a decent hotel in the Cotswolds- there’s a few to choose from. Nice to glide to Christmas and NY without the stress and washing up or having to do much of anything for yourself.

That’s what I recommend.

Central

Consider making several bookings that are all flexible and free to cancel or amend. You have your own list of desirable places, so review their availability. Short-haul will likely be more readily adjusted or give options to travel further away from your destination, for even greater flexibility.

But if overseas, remember the 2 days of isolation that's needed on your return, until your test results are available. Those rules may change to be more impacting.

I think it's a case of listing your desired places and weighing them up. Probably lots of new places in the UK to see.
