Under the Duvet

I live in a flat in a v old house (built in 1870).

I've just heard what sounded like a cat walking down my hallway but both my cats are in here with me...spooky!

Do you have any ghosties where you live or things that go bump in the night?

Unfortunately not, it’s just one of the joys of living in a very old house. Pull up the duvet and get some sleep. Night xx

The only things going bump in the night here are the actual cats during their 2am zoomies

Yes my house is victorian era with quite a past, i resurrected it from a abandoned shell. I wont say the knickname of my house because its very well known in the area from something that happened many moons ago. Ive had a absolute nightmare here with spooky goings off.. one room remains locked as that seems to be the heart of it and guests have felt themselves being held down, seen things and what nott in there.

Ive been pushed at the top of the stairs, had kitchen cupboards emptied ect ive had it blessed, have candles lit all the time now, its been calm for the past 10 months but starting more building work soon so i know it will show its head again.

Hope you did get some sleep minnie!

Nothing of note here (it was built at the start of the 1970s), however I have experienced noises elsewhere.

We've had some strange things. Moving shadows , that sort of thing.

We also go on organised ghost hunts, which are quite fun.

We're open minded sceptics really so try to look for rational explanations before sayings it's weird

With noises like that I would be searching the house with a shotgun.

Nope, no ghosts or ghoulies in this house.

Always creaking and groaning here, the house too.

Big stone built farmhouse, 1700s

Do have ghosts too but they don't bother us

We’ve recently moved from an old house in a historic village. We had foot steps, talking , whispering, things moving almost every day. Surprisingly wasn’t really scary though. My other half must of startled what ever it was one night, as he went downstairs the ‘thing’ yelped as if someone has just made you jump

What's more scary:

That's there's ghosts?

Or that it's all in your head?

Ghosts and spirits usually run away and hide when they see me

?

I've got a ghost in my house...he's generally playful, flicks people's ears, prods you, I've found the dogs collars done up and on the floor when they don't fit over their heads, and he's thrown their dinner bowls a few times
