Bexley

Pink Floyd 'The Wall'

It was some time in the 1980s in Leicester Square. Next day the friend I went with told me off for opening the car door for his wife to get. Apparently she gave him a bollocking when they got home for not having comparable manners himself!

Perfect swansong cinema visit for me. No desire to sit that long facing the front and paying attention nowadays but on that occasion was riveted to the screen.

I can't even manage the attention span required if a friend insists on watching a film in the living room or bedroom. not watched anything particularly memorable under such conditions, even though I suppose I could ask them to run it back a bit when my mind wanders off and I miss a bit.

Truth is I don't even miss the bits I miss!

Could never, ever, again summon up the enthusiasm for a cinema 'experience'.

We went to see Dune whilst up in Scotland a couple of months ago. Didn’t realise there was going to be a sequel and so was surprised when it ended as it did!

Could have been less time for sure…was ok.

K"

That's odd because we saw Dune up in Scotland earlier this month. Left the kids with their grandad and had a few hours to ourselves.

Music was too much at points, but it was ok on the whole. Husband insisted on telling me the plotlines of the books in the series that will never be made into films afterwards

"Ghostbusters afterlife, absolutely awesome! "

Hubster is trying to persuade me to go. Seen a few people say it a great film so may have to see what all the fuss is about.

We last seen James Bond and thought it was awesome.

Looking forward to the new Spiderman film which is out in a few weeks
