Never said ' are humans stopping having sex ' ! I said are the days of " swingers' meeting dying out and meets becoming less and less , there is a complete difference between them , i reckon married couples willcontinuehaving sex even if its the regulation saturday night fun !!!, hope this has cleared up thedifference for you

There does seem to be a sense of apprehension compared to pre pandemic. People are just more wary I suppose.

I would agree with this…the type of people who have joined over the last couple of years seems different to the people I have met over the years.

It takes me a little while longer to agree to meet and if I get the slightest vibe something is not right, I don’t entertain it.

Will naughty wives stop having sex with other men infront of their horny husbands. Doubt it either

Given arrangements I’ve been making recently. I’d say no, there’s plenty of folk out there getting together.

Absolutely not… we want to create banter, flirting & anticipation with our meets - this takes time to build. Swinging for us is a treat, if we did it too often then the specialness would wear off quickly.

There is something in what you are saying.

I'd like to leave Covid out of the equation tho ......

I think that 'dirty secrets' on the web are becoming todays norm and people will be meeting up and having sex without having to go through the peacocking on a forum.

So you may be right .... it'll be slow rather than sudden tho.

Nafferton, nr Driffield.

I find a direct correlation between numerous messages and no meets.

My best meets tend to be short notice, spur of the urge need a shag meets.

CONISTON .Stoke Suburbia. Staffs. BARMOUTH. The Lakes (Monthly)

We still go to our fave club just as regularly as before, and we still play in the clubs as hard as we did before, so personally we have found no change in our club experience.

As for Fab, yes it has deteriorated rapidly. We find it's not longer a couples friendly site, it's more orientated to the singles population. We have joined another site which is providing us with the fun we enjoy, we stay here just to keep up with meets from our last 8 years here.

After the Roman Empire the 60's and 70's were the buzz years for swingers.......just ask my parents

Same for us. Just because we don’t meet with every person that messages us doesn’t mean we don’t meet. Also life is busy so when it happens it needs to be worth it.

Kx

Not at all. I don’t think the days of meeting are gone. However I do think (not speaking for all) myself and some I’ve met, are meeting people they have built a rapport and made friendships with since the pandemic and lockdowns hit.

Some people are still cautious and some are getting out there and meeting. Certainly wouldn’t say the days of meeting are gone

"It's definitely changed over the years I've been on the site. Seem to be a lot after just fuck and go scenarios lately."

Definitely this- I’m constantly told I’m in the wrong place and looking for a boyfriend because I want to have a conversation with a guy and see a face photo before I agree to meet him, let alone have a social meet! So I’ve hidden my profile and given up for now. Fed up of the abuse I get every time I say no to someone, and on the rare occasions I agree to meet someone for a drink I never hear from them again.

Nowhere

I think maybe people are more wary because of the amount of timewasters. So they are reluctant to take the plunge til there’s been more conversation and they feel more secure that it’s not a fools errand.

Covid has also had an impact and we are still in the middle if an ever evolving pandemic and until we are through it with treatments that cope with all the variants with some level of confidence I don’t think it will get back to what it was. It has forced some lifestyle changes too with hybrid working so if we look for anything positive to come out of it - it may be that.

I can remember the forums and the chatrooms on here were like a community - if someone was missing from chat someone would check on them offline either with a call or text. I don’t see that here now - although i avoid the chatrooms like the plague as its like a zoo on the odd occasion i have ventured in.

People meeting will always happen but maybe the process is a bit longer / different now to try and out the wasters.

The current decline in meeting which is mostly due to the pandemic is not necessarily a permanent end to anything. I think it's fair to say singing has increased in popularity of the decades. If there's a dip now, there's every reason to think it will pick up again some time.

No. Perhaps people are genuinely more cautious and selective in their choices now. Can be a good thing

Most people are not compatible with most other people. If we don't accept that basic fact, we have the wrong expectations here. We have to accept that most contacts won't get sex.
