"I did buy head phones that i have been eyeing up for a while. They were 35% up and have gone back to full price today. I felt successful there haha." That's a good saving. We got something as a gift for someone with a fair bit off as well as what I bought.

"It's a con, there's very few actual bargains to be had." We got two items that were reduced.

"It's a con, there's very few actual bargains to be had." I agree, some of it can be - depends on how gullible the advertisers think we are and consider other factors. I managed to save at least £40 on a Radley watch and £100 on a Michael Kors hand bag, £80 on x2 100 ml bottles of Paco Rabanne "Invictus" mens EDP fragrance - all crimbo gifts so I'm delighted.

"I still can't believe people think they've saved money when in fact they've spent money. If you paid £80 for something that's usually £100, you definitely have not saved £20. You have spent £80 and saved zero. " Well in that case they’ve spent less then they normally would have, if it was an item they were going to buy anyways.

Well in that case they’ve spent less then they normally would have, if it was an item they were going to buy anyways. "

If you wanted to buy something, and you got it the sale, and were going buy it anyway, you've spent less than you would have spent. We're all grown ups.
