Fake tan

Yay or nay?

I decided not to bother with it tonight even though I'm wearing a dress tomorrow. I planned to just embrace my paleness like the mature, sophisticated woman I pretend to be. But now, at midnight, I questioning whether I should go throw it on after all! Do you prefer a summer glow, even in the middle or winter, or natural and peely wally?

Personally I prefer a person's natural tone, tanned or otherwise

I'm biased, coming from a country where everyone was always tanned and sunbleached, I find soft, natural, pale skin very attractive, even slightly erotic lol

You have a beautiful natural skin tone OP (going by your profile pictures) so I’m sure you’ll look amazing in your dress tomorrow without the fake tan.

Always go natural. I can honestly say I've never once in my life thought "she'd look better with a bit of fake tan"

If it were me, I'd stick with my natural skin tone, which could accurately be described as "sheet white".

Hate my pasty white legs

But fake tanning takes for a day and a bit

Laying in your best bet

Do you layer wait 15 minutes do another then wait 15 minutes agein then repeat

Then wait 4-5 hours wash off and the repeat all over agein it’s far to much hassle

To get it to look right very dark and not look green or orange

These are the responses my lazy ass needed to justify not getting back up to do it . I'll be the glow in the dark one in all the photos tomorrow

I think both can be awesome but what's ideal is when we love how we are. I've used fake tan and it's been a fantastic boost for me at the time. Very little at night, I'd probably opt for the luxury of rest and sleep

I like natural skin tone or a natural light tan.

I must admit that I do use the tinted moisturiser at the start of summer whilst I build my natural tan up a little bit. I don't want to blind everyone when the sun reflects off me

If I’m wanting a bit of colour I use Dove summer glow moisturiser. It looks natural, has a pleasant fragrance and doesn’t look fake at all

Best is used over a few days before hand

"Personally prefer a natural tan "

I’m pretty sure everyone does, people don’t choose a fake tan over a natural tan though, it’s hard to maintain a natural tan living here.

I've never bothered with fake tan and embrace my natural pasty almost blue complexion.

Seems a lot of extra faff to go through and then have it stain the bedding ( does it do that??)

Prefer to be natural colour! Why be obsessed with wanting to be another colour? Having a tan isn't what everyone wants or attracted too. Lol

You’re absolutely incredible looking so you should feel confident the way you are naturally, but I totally agree, it’s important to feel better about yourself and we should do whatever we need to in order to achieve that.
