I am planning Brazilian carrot cake this weekend. Its so different to the one we know here. Just a simple and moist orange sponge with chocolate glaze.

I felt like that after TWO days of making cakes, but they were Dog cakes I was making! Had to say they went down a storm (pun not intended given the recent weather) and made lots of money!

There’s a fab (another unintended pun ) dog treat recipe book called Hairy Bakers, I has so many great recipes, my dog loved them.

Kids dragged me there.. I know much better doughnut places than theirs but I do enjoy biscoff one and this one made me smile too. Had a little cherry jam inside too.

In the middle

Lemon drizzle is my fave, closely followed by carrot cake and you can’t beat a nice slice of Madeira, in-fact most cakes are acceptable as long as they aren’t chocolate cakes
