I don’t know what it’s like these days as I’m not here to meet but the first time I was in on Fab it was a nightmare trying to break that verification duck, took me about 4 months I think. As soon as that first one was finally bagged then they started to flow.

So thank you to the lady who took a chance on the unverified chancer back in the day, everyone needs that first break so give the guys a chance!

I think the website has a filter to search for verified members only, that makes it sound like non verified are not really wanted.

*just my opinion.

People will meet with people they like the sound of, don’t be a dick, don’t be fake, don’t be a con and you’ll be okay.

We all had to start somewhere and have someone take a chance on us I guess. The reason I don't meet unverified people now is purely for safety reasons. As a woman meeting on my own, I need to be reassured the person is at least who they say they are.

I have met people who are unveried in the past. It all depends on how we get on when we chat.

In the last year I have tightened my filters more so they can't message me mainly to cut down down on mail.But if I saw someone who would interest me I'd message first anyhow.

If we were looking for single men (which we aren't), we would not avoid the unverified. We would be very surprised if anybody pretended to be a man if they are not one. I can't imagine why somebody would do that.

We would only avoid unverified couples and women, because there is a lot of talk about there being fake ones.

The whole point of verifications are to show that you’re real. A veri doesn’t mean that you’ve had sex, just that someone has seen you, you’re not fake and are who you say you are.

Social verifications make up a huge portion of most people’s lists, if you want a veri, gender doesn’t matter, especially over coffee.

Yeah but if a straight men has a veri from a man, many people would shout "gay!!". No matter what the veri text said about coffee.

It's strange.... people 100% trust veris to 'prove' that person is decent/ will meet/ etc. Yet those same people often also won't trust a man veri for another man wasn't a shagfest.

I was meet(social) verified under my last profile but I never bothered showing it. I view fab like meeting someone in a bar and chatting. You click or you don't. Loads of graphic veri's put me off.

If verifications are important there are numerous ways of getting verified but even a veri isn’t the end of it. Sounding people out and a bit of intuition go a long way

I don’t think I’m verified on this account and I’ve been to my fair share of socials and met a number of forumers
