Sounds great to your ear whilst picking music you listen to? Minus English of course! What have you opened your mind and ears to?

I just have been listening to Icelandic artist - Ásgeir - on Spotify... most songs were in English but then this beauty in his native tongue comes on and it really strikes a good vibe in my ear. I can't write a title as it's beyond my keyboard capabilities or I'm just clueless

What are your 'foreign' and delightful music discoveries? Links would be great addition. Thank you.

I can't think of any specific examples but a lot of music in films which I enjoyed has been French rap and Japanese pop.

When I worked in India I really got into some of the Bollywood music…bought a soundtrack - Om Shanti Om. It’s proper cheesy but it makes you smile…and I loved embracing the culture.

They can be cheesy but also very melodic. Or beautiful rhythm like bhangra inspired music.. On that note.. Panjabi MC

Try something like Calon Lân or Myfanwy though headphones when you get a quiet minute or two to just sit there and immerse yourself in the music.

Myfanwy is a beautiful song. Gwahoddiad is a gorgeous tune too, but there’s many others.

Taff is right - there’s lots of great Welsh language music. The scene is very vibrant and creative.

I like music sung in other languages, from all over the place. Big fan Brazilian music - Portuguese is wonderful.

The Hu are great.. it's a Mongolian rock/metal band. I love the throat singing incorporated into rock. It's really good. Wolf totem is my favourite they're on Spotify if you want to check them out
