My theme remains the same each year .. the same decorations year in year out.

Tree mostly red and gold like yours but with some personal one-offs collected over the years.

I don't have a theme, it's just whatever I've collected over the years

I only have one tree.... I discovered my hairdresser /gym buddies have 5 or 6 with difference themes per room

Maybe one day I am tempted. I just like the sentimental value of mine.

.

My theme is treasured moments, that counts doesn't it? It's a mix of gifts given, decorations picked up on holidays and mini breaks. They all make me smile when I see them, higgledy-piggledy style.

On a mooch

No theme. It’s made up of lots of different ornaments. Some which were mine when left home, then added to over the years. There is one on there that is 45 years old. The rest are what my lad has chosen each year, he gets to pick four new ones, plus others that parents have bought.

So it’s a tree of memories plus multi coloured non flashing lights.

We never have a theme, I just let the kids crack on and decorate the tree however they like! They always add random objects too like plastic dinosaurs and Lego haha. It’s nice to let them loose to be creative Miss pc

I bought a tree from Argos the year I moved into my house. It came with decorations. Whatever ones haven't yet broken will be going on along with everything I've bought in the January sales in the years since and a few special pieces I've picked up over the years. The kids have made various things at school and we have some clear baubles with their pictures in from a few years back. Truly tacky stuff.

But the crowning glory that must be 20 years old came from the back of a Simpsons chocolate decoration packet. We cut it out. It's Homer dressed as Santa stuck in a chimney and it goes on the top of the tree every year. Sod this love of angels or stars or bows - everyone should have a Homer tree topper

I went for pink last year, as I saw a cute pink tree in the Range.

I hadn't had a tree in my house for years, and don't usually like pink.

It's going up again this year.
