Glasgowish

I have been to Majorca recently and it done me the world of good just getting away from my busy life. Booked a caravan by the sea for me and my dog in April next year and also hope to go to Poland.

Could you book something to do you wouldn't usually until you can get away on holiday? A change of "routine" and "normal" might be nice for now

Not going away but finally getting round to enjoying an afternoon tea with my husband. In 8 years together I don't think we've ever had one in each others company

I’m going on a weekend break to Gdansk in Poland next year. I’ll also probably take a road trip to Snowdonia to take in some mountain scenery on my own, spend the time in peace and reflection.

Poznan is amazing. make sure you get to Croissant Museum and see the billy goats buting their heads at noon on top of the Town Hall.

Another one of my favourite cities. Sopot is your go to for restaurants, pier and crooked House- funny piece of architecture.

When you have a job that's not a job, just a hobby, and your job is your hobby, every day is a holiday. A vacation is just a change of scenery.

Thanks for the heads up, I’ve been wondering where to head for. It looks a stunning city to wander around.

Nope. I've done a 5* in Tenerife (a friend persuaded me) and it was so awful, I cried. I did Portugal and Spain as a teen, lived in Germany and a city break surprise in Amsterdam.

All a complete waste of money with nothing to show for it.

My best friend lives in Canada and I've been over at least five times and as much as I adore seeing her and amazing parts of NS and Ontario, I just want to come home.
