I never hear it spoken,so why do people put it in words?

I'm guilty of that one, it just seems a polite but informal way of beginning a conversation. It's better than wanna suck my c**k or wanna f**k, however neither approaches work all that well on here lol

I hear and say the words 'how are you?' in person alot.

Don't mind it being used in emails as long at that's not the whole message. If we get one of those from someone we have never spoken to, they just get deleted.
