Who remembers the gravity wheel at the fun fair

What was your favourite ride...

Always, the bumper cars. Despite being told not to, of course you tried to smash the car your mate was driving.

Hefty Hideaway

All of the rides! The cyclone was ace too.

Unfortunately on account of being deaf, I *shouldn’t* go on rides that spin because I promptly vomit and/or blackout as soon as I get off. Added to the thrill I suppose

Oh god yeah - I was blown away when I first saw a gravity wheel!

I'm old skool - probably a fast waltz is my fave ride

I was talking to a friend about the gravity wheel this weekend. Those were the days before health and safety lol

On a mooch

Gravity wheel still exists, I never did it but it’s fun watching others.

I can’t do things that spin so for me it’s the dodgems or a rollercoaster. Fond memories of the old wooden one at Great Yarmouth, added to the fear whether it would stay intact

Gave up early on the likes of the gravity wheel and waltzers (scream if you want to go faster!) .. couldn’t see he point in paying up my money of my own free will to end up feeling violently sick!

All about the adrenaline rides for me, not the ones that disorientate you and make you want to puke!

Oh I can't do roundy round rides!

As someone who has always been bigger, fair rides and amusement parks have always been places filled with anxiety and fear of the walk of shame as you're too fat to get on I was chief bag holder for my friends mainly.

Waltzers for sure. Sadly can't do anything like that any more thanks to a bad back!

I like the Waltzers, because of the people spinning them and the funky music

I just hung around the punch bag machine looking moody in my leather jacket, smoking and occasionally running a comb through my hair.

"The death slides were ace"

I had palpations when small people went up the 100ft inflatable slide at the fair
