1 Bringing up my oldest son mainly on my own and he’s so balanced and achieving well at 18.

2 Getting through a horrific pregnancy where my baby was constantly at risk even down to his birth but I fought for him and now he is here and safe and an absolute delight

I don't have any children but I do mentor younger people in the gym, which then extends to their lifestyle in some cases if they stick around

One kid in particular is 17 years old and wants to become a competitive bodybuilder. The day he turned up in the gym he was stick thin and didn't have a clue what he was doing or how to diet.

Spent a good 6 months with him now and he's put on 8kg in bodyweight and keeps getting stronger. He's determined and consistent! So long as he keeps that up, I'll happily continue mentoring him. Try helping him out with his finances and love life too

Makes me feel proud to inspire younger people like him. Great feeling watching him progress into a man

Buying a house all by myself when I was 25.

Mr moved in a few months later as we'd become a couple while I was in the process of buying it. We jointly overpaid and very proudly paid off the mortgage 8 1/2 years later. Without a mortgage we can afford to live frugally - he gave up his shit factory job and I work part time. Means we have quality time together while the kids are young.

Gives us more time for sex too
