How inept of the board. Stick with him after hopeless performances against Liverpool and City and wait for Conte to go the Spurs. Then finally sack him and put Carrick in charge until they scramble to find someone else.

Ole had to go but the planning of this has been shambolic.

Steve Bruce must be patiently waiting by his phone. He’s a nice guy, lives in the area, loves the club and did such a fantastic job a Newcastle

Me too. #ynwa

Apparently, Chelsea are appealing Maguire's red card. They want him to play next week.

Yes, he needed more time and backing. I was looking forward to him spending another couple of hundred million in January on more strikers, and blathering on about “the Manchester United way” and “the cloob”.

Yes it is possible, but first they need to sign someone called ronalado though

Not a United fan. But they should consider making a cheeky phonecall to Pochettino.

Levy was savvy.

I reckon you’ll go through one or two managers before you find a fit

He was majorly out of his depth but, saddling him with the vanity signing of an ageing Ronaldo, is what's cost him his job.

No way. Without ronaldo's goals he'd had already been gone.

One or two? Already been 4 plus 2 caretakers since Ferguson.
