Colour. It's not 1900.

Both. "Colour splash" I think it's called? Mostly black and white apart from one colour, it can look good with bold colours

LvM

Both.

Black and white are more artistic/stylish/flattering. Colour are more real, informative, warm.

Yes definitely. Some images suit colour, others don’t and then some look great with the colour popped

I'm partial to b/w. Think I'll have one as me next profile pic... when I can be bothered

I can never decide so I have a mix of both. When I take pictures I filter them with a warm hue, b/w and colour splash and pick my favourite to post

Some pics look really arty and stylish in black and white, particularly where there may not have been a lot of colour in the first place. And some pics just lend themselves well to being b&w. Maybe because colour pics are the norm, a b&w is going to catch my attention.

It depends who’s in them.

I do like black and white, and it’s usually normal that I like the people behind the profiles too.

I'll take your word for it, I wasn't around then.

I like them both, and always have it planned out in my mind first before I take the shot, whether I want b&w or colour! Helps to know what colour to wear for the desired affect! Miss pc

Agree with this. I prefer colour it gives more idea of skin tone and texture. I like the realness of an unfiltered colour picture.

We like black and white as helps make thing less identifiable if public but colour splash is cool

I don't like restricting myself to a signature shot so I use both.

Depends completely on the image.

Some photos look a little classier or more alluring in black and white.

b/w is less exposing weirdly.

I agree, love those kind of pics, especially when the standout colour are the shoes or lipstick. Miandering Minx has loads of excellent ones

Never used to get black and white pics but they do look more classy in my opinion but I think colours can show a lot more of someone's personality

I've never seen the appeal of B&W myself. I know some people live it, but I don't get it. Luke
