Yep, installed it last week. Installation was painless and everything worked fine afterwards.

Noticeably faster for the first few days; it’s been a bit inconsistent today, though.

The pain was resolved by wiping it and replacing it with Ubuntu!

Was that used on Amstrad 1512?

I had to learn all my DOS commands from a book that came with it. The only computer at work. I just got told, "your young...see if you can work it out and get some use out of it".

No excel, office, email. I had supercalc.

I did that for 3 laptops in our house. I could hardly believe how much faster they ran. Even swapping them over was simple.
