Can you buy just the bags? I've loads of various spices etc and love a good chicken thigh and just love the idea of bunging stuff in a bag, shaking it all up and leaving it to steam cook in a bag.

So any idea's if i can just buy those bags from anywhere?

little house on the praire

Funnily we where talking about bags at slimming. You can buy bags with a gusset in the bottom so they stand up to put soup and stuff in to freeze. But im sure you could use one of those. Or look on lakeland plastics website

I may be wrong here but a drop of water, your spices/herbs wrapped in tin foil will cook it the same? No? I do ma apricot stuffed chicken an chicken wrapped in bacon n brie like this, I know - not the same exactly but would think it do the job? I buy maggies when on offer for £1 each n stick them away. They r lush x

Cute,

Have a look in the internet for a method of cooking called 'en papillote'; there are hundreds of recipes out there that utilise this method (which is very, very similar to the season n shake bags)
