What’s lacking in myself that makes me get cringed out by watching things that other people do, videos or these tik toks or boomerangs.

Like videos on here of women who I deem to be unattractive either facially or just huuuge bumpers of women doing ‘sexy’ solo videos they just make me go oh no no and I cringe so hard my spine hurts.

Why does it have this affect on me. Is it a nasty side of myself that gets triggered? I dunno what it is. Wish I could live and let live. I know people cringe at stuff I say so it’s full circle but does anyone get this? Like they watch a video of someone and you’re like no why are you doing that, stop. I sort of know what you mean and I don't think it is a nasty thing as such it is just us imagining doing the same thing and that we would feel embarrassed or awkward.

Oh I was talking more generally about the feeling rather than in relation to the specifics of anything to do with the site, absolutely feel everybody should be free to post and enjoy what they like without judgement.

To your point though I suppose what is cringeworthy or embarrassing is very much down to the individuals interpretation rather than the posters intention.

I think we all have stuff we cringe at on here and the wider world. I know we've seen stuff and felt that way and maybe others have felt that about us or even things people have seen of you. A lot of it is down to personal taste, upbringing and environment I guess. So what's right (or wrong) for you doesn't mean you are right (or wrong). The main thing is that we don't go about being mean to different individuals or groups (including us bumpers).

I think many will be wondering what exactly your motivation for starting this? General conversation, exploring an idea or something more passive aggressively dark and/or vain (even if subconsciously)? I can't read minds so it's totally unfair to speculate on motivation. But you can understand how some will speculate based on how it comes across and you know, this is the Internet after all.

I put a video on my socials of me doing my Christmas tree in a time lapse video was only wearing my Xmas pyjamas nothing sexy and decorating a fucking 7.5ft tree which involved wrestling it out the box and fluffing each branch and still had guys sliding in the dms saying shit. It’s like dudes I’m putting a Xmas tree up ffs leave me be.

There's a lot of good will towards you on here OP, probably because you wear your heart on your sleeve. But I think your comments towards other women are sometimes a bit harsh. Don't think it's necessarily a nasty side of you, maybe a wee bit of insecurity.

Maybe. And maybe some people get a great deal of joy from just being silly and sharing that with others. They're not looking for 10,000 views, just to connect with people and enjoy themselves. Just like here - some of us are just looking to connect, not get 2,000 fabs. So many dismissive comments of something others enjoy. I find that makes me cringe.

Most people who do think that, would stop at thinking it. Much like Polish Dudes, you could have posted the same thread without denigrating the people in the videos. But no one is ever sure what your threads are about because you pivot a fair bit.
