How much of your privacy are you willing to give away?

We all automatically sign away our rights to privacy by going online, uploading pictures, browsing the news, enabling always on features on our phones, using online back up services etc.

So where do you draw the line in matters of your own privacy ?

I personally don't care very much.

My phone is listening to me 24/7, recording the conversions and sending data to companies that pay for it.

As long as it's not harmful to me, collect all the data you want

In terms of the phone stuff, I'm not all that bothered because the effort it would take to avoid it is much great althan the negative effect it has on me.

I also don't mind targeted ads because if they're gonna spam me, it might as well be with something I'm looking for anyway

I guess it’s less of a question of how much I’m willing to give away than is unknowingly taken. As you say everything is listening, tracking, monitoring and analysing all we do. And all to advertise to us.

It’s a fact of life now whether we like it or not.

The fact that I’ve just written Biden and ISIS and bomb in the same sentence means that this very post is logged on a database in GCHQ and the Pentagon. Hello to all the Spooks reading this

I’m with you OP , if it means I get better ads popping up, bring it on….. Why do people have a need for secrets?
