I would happily travel for a meet I'd just treat it as a little break. Plus I think it would be good to know people from different areas and just enjoy the whole community and lifestyle.

I travel hours to a club when you know you'll get about 6 hours of fun.

I can't see the point in spending a couple of hours to get ready then a long drive which will probably only be half an hour of sex.

Pre-internet, when I used phone chatlines, rather than the usual occasional late night/early hours cross-country dash to visit someone, one late night chat led to my being invited to visit at the weekend...

....I left Milton Keynes around lunchtime on the Saturday to arrive at the young lady's place in Glasgow mid-evening - where I enjoyed a great home-cooked meal before spending the night enjoying her...

....and she made me a great cooked breakfast before I left mid-morning Sunday!

On another occasion, chatting to a widow in Rochdale led to an invite to dinner the following evening - I knew I was in for a wild night when she cooked and served it whilst wearing nothing but a black lingerie set...

The most we have travelled specifically for a meet is about 2 hours each way, but the drive home is always exhausting. We have had meets that were further away, but they have been because we were in the area anyway for a weekend or something, we have never purposefully travelled for them.
