Sadly, you might get little support on here other than from me and a few others. The vast majority (not just on here but also in the general populace) seem to hold the popular belief that good English no longer matters and that anything can be excused on the grounds that 'language evolves'.

Hopefully you, at least, might understand why I maintain that 'rescued dogs' and 'rescue dogs' (for example) should not be ignorantly confused or misdescribed by adopters of sloppy English!

Im a conversationalist and an excellent listener. Cos ive always been a ppl watcher and interested in sociology and psychology, ive always been good at listening and communicating, and giving advice, or helping guide ppl through their problems

Im glad i have this quality cos its allowed me to genuinely connect with ppl, i can share moments with them that you can only have when you actually sit down with each other and really communicate on a human level

Sometimes the act of just talking and getting to know someone for hours on end is more stimulating than sex itself

That hardly comes easy to me! Hard work but rewarding. In awe of you!"

Being a mum IS ENOUGH! even if your good, bad or ugly. It goes from challanging to rewarding and everything in between. (Belive me I know). Pat yourselves on the back ladies, or pull your big girl pants up, and hold your heads high. You do an amazing job! That's said for for every mum that ever has been, current and in the futer.

Disclaimer:- not being sexest, males / dads can start their own thread. I'm just replying 2 ladies. And thoughts are with those who's wanted to be blessed but not had children.

Understanding people. Empathising and being able to tap into what makes them tick.

I’m a very very good listener, and I really hear what people are saying on a deeper level which allows me to connect with them easily.

My ex called me a magnet for people’s secrets. I’ve had strangers confide in me within minutes of chatting, it’s strange but beautiful.

Unfortunately, I seem to be professional at not telling people what I really want, leading to a world of missed opportunities.

On the plus side, though no consolation, I'm excellent at music trivia.

Most things come easy at a superficial level, I am a quick study. Intellectually though, not so much, especially the world of finance.

We don't need to be perfect.. just good enough in our kids eyes. And I think I am comfortably there most days thanks for that

"Grammar, spelling, punctuation etc. Even my boss always got me to proof read everything for them.

I try my best in not native languages.. but I was spotless in my own. Always best at orthography. Photographic memory perhaps? Useful pre computer era"

Out of topic, but are you still spotless in your own language? I'm slowly forgetting more and more words. I still remember their meaning when I hear them, but I can't remember them when I need to use them myself, it's so frustrating.

Breaking the back of big challenges or projects, I just need good finishers as I get so bored 2/3 way through and go awol.

In real life I can be very charming and persuasive. It's a great talent and it helps me a lot in my job, but I have to watch I don't tip into becoming manipulative (it's a very easy step for me).
