Not clothes as such but I did have the front of my hair bleached and the Year Head at school told me to get rid of it because it looked like some straggly sea. Thanks Miss.

Oh cripes.

I had a selection of shell suits. All highly flammable. I also had a crazy Aztec type design 2 piece where the top was cropped and the bottoms were a la MC Hammer. I also had a perm - On very short and very thick hair. I somehow managed to keep a boyfriend throughout my school years. Poor thing was probably too scared to dump me.

I think it was the summer of 91 there was a fashion for waring red/black two tone jeans, coupled with LA Gear trainers with 2 different coloured laces intertwined,and a hypercolor T-Shirt; that was a terrible look!! We used to wear black trousers with speckles of colour though them as well - grim.

They used to sell them like this at Afflecks Palace. I made the mistake of getting furry panelled cords (looked like a dead muppet was used) and of course they got sodden in the Manchester rain on their first outing and were never the same again
