Our dentist's nurse/receptionist is a very tactile person. The first time I went she advanced towards me arms outstretched. Frozen with indecision I didn't know if she was asking for my coat or a hug, nerves and awkwardness made me hug her. I spent the rest of the hour long appointment sweaty with shame wondering if she'd actually intended to take my coat after all.

When I got in Mr N laughed because the same happened to him. Turns out she's a hugger
