My response up until now has been something asking to a gallic shrug and idunno!

An alternative to normal discussions, you dont find fabs topics of discussion on facebook, so it helps to add a little spice to the online social realm.

As far as meeting ppl goes, share some experiences with the right ppl, if we find each other that is, i know im pretry niche so i dont expect to be drowning in vaginal juices. I do feel it is a place to improve my chances of finding someone quite unique though regarding my own kinks and fantasies. Honestly, I don't know.

I've lost my mojo. Lost my flirt mostly and haven't been looking for anything or anyone for a while.

But since I stopped looking, I've found some incredible people, who are important in my life and who I've come to care about very much. They seem reasonably fond of me too for the most part which is nice

I guess fab for me now is the forum, a bit like a virtual pub, where we can gather and chat, occasionally get gussied up and get some attention (post pictures), flirt, laugh and put the world to rights. As opposed to a private chat which is akin to popping round to someone's house for coffee.

And it's nice to get the occasional admiring look or comment from someone else in this virtual pub. It is a real confidence boost if that happens, but stings a little if you've made the effort to get all fancy and it doesn't happen.

Ah-ah-ahem……just clearing my throat before I destroy any remaining chances I had.

I want no strings and no complexity. I’m busy and have more on my plate on a daily basis than many I know. I can’t deal with a swinging ‘Mount Everest’ on top of it. Maybe I’ll meet any one particular person/people once…maybe it will be many times…..just take it as it comes and I expect no different in return.

I struggle with the constant social aspect demanded here. I’m not unsociable, not by any stretch of the imagination; I’m nice to anyone I meet. Get me onto the right topic and I may talk your ears off!

But a social butterfly, I am not. I don’t live for get-togethers or parties; I’m generally neutral about them, slightly leaning towards ‘no thanks’ if anything. I like the Forums here as I can dip in and out.

I asked about Birmingham socials a while back, because I’d resigned myself to it being necessary to get anywhere but being completely honest, it’s not really ‘me’. I’d rather a quick-ish initial chat/meet to check if we click and then move things on, which is why clubs appeal slightly more.

It’s hard to put that in a profile without making it massive and subsequently ignored because ‘TL;DR’.

I think it evolves doesn't it? the longer you're on fab the more you see and learn, and about yourself.

I first joined as I just wanted sex without a relationship.

And now I'm in one.

Now I'd like another playmate and several experiences I haven't had... And may never do. If it happens it happens, if it doesn't it doesn't.

But for the whole entirety of my fab time I've wanted to explore and let my more deviant not so vanilla side loose. And I have, and there's still more to go.

Hi op. Well I know like me you’ve been on and off for years and had some good and bad experiences - so I sincerely hope that you find what you want when you’ve worked out what it is. X

As for me - outside fab I know - but I need a job so I can afford more of the socials and road trips that I love so much.

After realising during Lockdown 1 that I definitely don’t want a ‘proper’ relationship, I reconnected with an old fab party acquaintance this July and we’ve met many times since - both alone and at parties. I love that - it gives me the continuity/reliability I enjoy and the feeling that at least one person I fuck really cares about me - which is kinda nice.

As I like very regular sex and that’s still not happening (I see my regular a couple of times a month - he’s great company and an amazing shag - but what can I say - I’m a greedy fecker!

) I’m looking for a couple more lovely fwb’s to complete the picture. At the moment I’m talking to a few lovely chaps who may fit the bill. When I find those (if I do) then I’ll just use fab for the forums and club/social information.

From a friendship/social viewpoint fab still works fantastically well for me - some I just meet up with at clubs and parties - some I see outside that environment - some are now my best friends.

Whilst they’re all around I honestly couldn’t imagine ever leaving here.

So yeah - other than the job thing I’m in a great place!
