I am completely lacking in energy. I'm so shaky, whole body trembling, i do have Essential Tremors but it's far, far worse today. I have a mega headache, neck glands are painful, breathless even when walking a short distance in the house. My eyes are struggling to focus properly too.

Hubby has had covid and i have looked after him (i've tested negative) but i can't see that that's why I'm feeling so crap.

I'm interested in anything that can help me, probably certain foods might help, like bananas ?

Any tips for me please ? X

Sounds like you need to talk to your gp, no food or remede will help with those symptoms.

Rest and isolate as you may well have covid despite the negative test

I'd be testing everyday, you can test positive up to 10 days after you have been in contact with a covid positive person, rest up and keep hydrated lovely, any worries ring that GP x

I thought LFTs shouldn't be used when there are symptoms. Maybe book a PCR test.

Hope you feel better soon. X

What she said.

I’d just get a PCR test booked and find out for sure. If that’s negative, get yourself whatever form of GP appointment you can get to investigate further.

I don't have the main symptons of covid. I do LFTs for work anyway.

When hubbys LFT was positive he had a PCR test and i was told to aswell, his was positive, mine was negative.

Definitely get a doctor's appointment then. Better to get it sorted.

Manchester (she/her)

Definitely try to speak to your GP. Mine has a "ring back in two days" text service which I find is the most efficient way to get hold of them

When I first contracted cfs I had muscle spasms, not essential tremors. Migraine was prevalent as was chest issues. Vision impairment was an effect of the meds dosage/brand not migraine itself. As the name suggests cfs is just that - fatigue.

I would describe everything to your GP, make them aware you are concerned and have them run tests (poss scans) - b12. vit D, should be in there.

Ask them to refer you to a specialist if you are not happy. You are covid neg, so long covid clinics should be ruled out, though seeing a specialist sooner rather than later will help. With cfs at least, research is lacking, they can't help with nutrition or vitamin intake (which does help) due to NICE, but acting means you'll be in the system/receiving tests/in some kind of programme.

A lot of GP's opt for meds straight away.. this is not helpful in the long run as they don't diagnose, consultants do.

You could be exhausted from looking after hubby and being worried/concerned about him. As has been said, talk to your GP and see what they say. Look after yourself and I hope you feel better soon. Gentle hugs xx

My shakes and spasms were given the name of Functional Disorder when I got my ME/CFS diagnosis. And I was given Amitriptyline for the head and neck pain. It's such a complex illness that they don't seem to know where to start with research.

See your GP. I suffered for six weeks and in the end could barely walk. Was diagnosed with a large blood clot in my lung straining my heart.

Further clots in leg. I blame the AZ vaccine!

Don’t ask on a swinging forum for advice. Ring 111 (or 100? Any remeber) and get a professional to help you

You need medical assistance, not a dick pic and recommendations for banana and lucozade

There are myriad reasons you ate feeling tired.

Book an appointment with your GP and hopefully you'll get to the bottom of it.

Like everyone else says, I would get yourself a PCR test first. Then go to the gp. I’ve been like that before and had a vitamin b12 injection that helped a bit.

I’m feeling the same now but I have recently had covid so I’m thinking it’s the effects of that, but will give it a bit longer. X

Iskiate is a good energy drink

Just squeeze a lemon or lime into water and add chia seeds.

Let them absorb the water abs drink. It's like a slow release of energy rather than the high and low of caffeine

I can't have a PCR test because i don't have symptons of covid. I have already had a PCR that was advised when hubby got covid.

I will try the drink

Thank you
