Say what you want about Lewis, the man is an amazing driver. What a drive Sir Lewis from the sprint to the GP, pure class.

He’s had an excellent weekend. Could easily have got caught up in midfield squabbles. I suspect his extra pace came from the spanking new engine and Merc’ giving him the full beans from it.

Just needs to win the remaining 3 Grand Prix and title number 8.

I’m so looking forward to seeing him pairing up with George in 2022.

It would be amazing if he can win it. And he really kept his cool after the lap 48 incident

The safety car and VSC helped back the pack at the start meaning VER couldn’t scamper off but to be fair once HAM got ahead he was off down the road and no one was catching him.

Just heard though HAM is off to see the stewards.

24 overtakes in the space of about 70 laps (24 in the sprint and 60 in the race) must be some kind of record! Would love to know if anybody else has ever managed that many within the same amount of laps (over two races most likely).

Doesn’t matter if he was in the fastest car or not, he still had to cope with a twitchy car in turbulent air when following and Verstappens attempt to push him off the track (yet again). Still people choose to claim he’s had all the luck having the cars he’s had, who was it that said you create your own luck?

Very true but was clear the Mercedes was much faster than the red bull

So does Bottas but he couldn’t keep up with Verstappen the same way Lewis could. Granted Hamilton had a new ICE but Bottas was still faster than Perez so he had the car to beat Verstappen if he could get close enough

Looks like it's to do with the moment he stooped to get the Brazilian flag and he removed his seat belt so he could stretch his arm . Funny how Max was let off for pushing Lewis off the track

Sky reckon it’ll be a fine at most, no points deduction. What’s the bet it’ll be in the region of €50,00.00.

Lol looks like that's the standard for an F1 fine this weekend
