Following on from the other thread about rings causing havoc, has anyone had the unpleasant experience of snapping a banjo during sex?

It gets very wet that's for sure

Had mine tear getting a wank before. Didn't really feel it and she climbed on top. (In a car in a woods carpark so was pretty dark) I just taught she was soaking wet. Healed itself after a week or 2

Yes, happened to Mr KC when we were 18 and having sex in the back of a Vauxhall Corsa! Lots of blood and it still can cause problems today (nearly 18 years later). It was very problematic for several years afterwards.

It's the bit of string at the end! Pull on it too hard and it can snap

Depends how it's torn but usually fixes itself, some may need intervention though

See if you had gone for the larger Astra model, perhaps this may have been avoided

Still a problem now? Blimey must have been a bad one

Yes, he went to A&E and was pretty much laughed at by the staff, after he regaled them with the tale. They said leave it, it'll be fine. I seem to remember him consulting the GP about a year later (was when we were living together, so probably about right) and again, was told to leave it.

It's only a problem if a) I'm not properly "warmed up" first or b) we have very vigorous sex! Wearing a condom helps to protect it......

I was an impoverished student at the time, I couldn't afford an Astra

Mine used to have a split string then one morning having a scratch one bit snapped and it bled like a hymen breaking and I freaked out. It was fine and the instrument worked even better afterwards.

Yup happened twice and it was not nice!

The first time I wouldnt say it snapped more popped ! Was so sore it was actually a numb pain for a bit then it hurt like fuck after that

2nd time it wasnt actually that sore as it hadn't healed properly and went not long after.

Gave it time after that and it healed well and haven't had a bother since and that was about 10 years ago. Was conscious of it happening for a while after no2 but don't worry about it at all these days thankfully.

Yeah this happened to me years ago. It stung a bit and there was loads of blood, (my partner thought it was from here). It doesn’t grow back but once it’s healed it’s fine.
