Nice, was the crocodile also in down under? In the states they grill it. Some African cuisines cook it too with regular gravy.

Only timber rattlers are protected. Eastern diamond back are a pest so are hunted at certain times of the year to keep the population under control.

"It was described to me as fish lung soup lol

It was actually the swim bladder but the soup also had chicken, eggs, blood cakes and other bits I wasn't sure of lol... it was delicious though!

There is also a noodle soup in Thailand called "boat noodle soup" it has a ladle of fresh blood added before serving! It was also very good!

Have also tried emu, possum, crocodile, frogs, snails, deep fried chilli chickens feet, lost of different sharks, Morecombe Bay bugs, crickets, bbq chicken hearts... but I'm vegetarian now and have been for years lol

Lincolnshire

Angler fish is the tastiest fish I've ever eaten (in Italy)

Had fox (disgusting),

Plenty of things south of the equator - Springbok (raw), Zebra, Buffalo, Ostrich, Crocodile, pig's intestines, deep fried chicken cartilage, grass jelly, slimy sea, prickly pear, pink bananas, red clover...

I'll try (almost) anything. I politely refused a pig's brain which was honoured to me.

I tried Fugu sushi in Japan

Also raw shell fish in Italy, like raw red prawns.

Escargot? Maybe not that exotic but I guess not something people like. I do love snails they taste very mushroom+garlic
