The day medical science caught up with a very sick boy and mended him - and gave him a normal life

This is going to sound weird but the best time (and worst) of my life was when I had a lunch "date" with my dad in the hospice 2 weeks before he died. It was lovely to spend time with him and eat our favourite foods; tomato soup, fish and chips with mushy peas and apple crumble and custard.

It does not sound weird - it sounds like it was a very special day and the fact you remember it so well says it all!

15th February this year. It was our last full day in London for our only holiday this year. It was Mr's birthday so we went to the Imperial War museum, the Dr Who Experience and then had a meal at a posh Italian restaurant. That night we went to see Wicked! The Musical and on the way back to the hotel Mr proposed with a gorgeous ring on the steps of The Tate Britain art gallery.

Best day of my life so far!

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

4th February, 2002 walking on my own on Moraki Beach in New Zealand. A significant date spent in total wonderment looking at the boulders.

I can remember the day mine were born as if it were yesterday - very special days. I can also remember when I finished my first degree, not the graduation but that final exam and when it was over - it was such a great feeling that I did not even care about the results.

dudley

The day my daughter was born was one of the greatest days of my life and also one of the saddest too, my emotions were everywhere.

I hear her come though the door now and every good feeling and deed seems to pale in comparison. The love of a child is truly a wonderful thing.
