I’ve seen one too and a sea snake in the same day. All in the Caribbean.

I went on a great white experience in South Africa in 2009. They were incredible to see in the wild. Ultimate killing machine.

Basking shark…. I know they don’t hurt you but I think it’s the size of them… especially when you’re in the water!!

first time I ever went wakeboarding, the bay we were in was FULL of jellyfish; I'm talking half a dozen for every square metre of surface water. Needless to say, I got up first time!

Moray Eel like above.

They seem to hang menacingly in the water. Didn’t stop someone feeding her though. I floated well back.

I saw a few barracuda but it was when I saw a large fish with a huge chunk missing and one nearby that I headed back to the beach.

A seal. He made very clear that he didn’t want us swimming there, possibly he was protecting Mrs seal. We think the same one chased off some divers a few days later

Her ladyship loves a sea creature one very unhappy lady in Cornwall when a large seal surfaced behind her paddle board. She has bought herself board shoes so her feet look less like fishes thus reducing the possibility she'll be pulled off her board and drowned by a hungry seal.

Ha, maybe it was the same seal They’ll pull on your leash sometimes, never heard of anyone being bitten. They like to come check out divers too

A dolphin. Ok, in itself it wasn't scary but that initial sight of it's fin next to me gave me a shitter. It was in the Pacific where there were sharks

I just told her that

My mate does a lot of spear fishing and he's often had a nosy seal pop down to see what he's up to.

They had a big bull seal off Ramsey Island that used to hunt and kill porpoises but as you say I've not heard of any uk seal attacks (leopard seals are a different question)

Mr
