First CD - now why can I remember years back to vinyl but not the more recent CDs (think it may have been a Cliff Richard one though )

First ever single was "Ernie (The Fastest Milkman in the West" by Benny Hill

First album was "Pink & Perky's hit parade"

I must add that they were both given to me on Christmas 1971 or 1972 along with a mono record player, from my Mam and Dad

The first single I ever bought myself was "My Coo ca Choo" by Alvin Stardust. My first album was one of those compilation of today's hits but none of them were sung by the real singers. The album covers were always great tho because they featured a young lady wearing almost nothing

How did I forget to add the ol TDK 90's on the list. Think most of mine were bootlegs.
