Love Marvel and loving phase 4! The multiverse is so exciting not knowing which characters are turning up in the parallel multiverse

As for favourites it has to Gaurdians of the Galaxy 1 and 2. They are my go to films when I feel crappy or need a lift

London/Essex... ish... Romford to be exact

Infinity War... End Game.... Capt America: Civil War

Thor Ragnorak

Meh list = Ant Man, both films, Captain Marvel, GOTG2, Black Panther

Haven't seen Shang Chi or Black Widow and not anxious to do so either although my stance has softened on Black Widow as I'm a fan of Florence Pugh so may give it a go soon.

Loved both films tbh. And Venom Let there be Carnage was much better than the 1st.

Saw Eternals at the weekend and I loved it, though I can understand why people are slating it, but it was just an opener to who and what Eternals were about

My favourite is Captain America The Winter Soldier.

To me it blends a classic spy thriller with action/superhero film and has several of the stand out action sequences in any marvel film. It’s grittier than other marvel films but still keeps the comic book style without pandering to a dumbed down plot.

I can watch it over and over.

"Recently started watching Marvel from phase one. Currently on Phase four. What’s your favourite film from the collection and why?"

As an avid reader / collector of the comics - including the infinity gauntlet - I’ve been disappointed with how Hollywood has completed trashed the storylines and characters.

The movies, whilst some have been fun to watch, are the worst adaptation of a ‘book’ that I’ve come across. Awful.

The Spider-Man movies and the Thor movie with Planet Hulk were the only ones I enjoyed.

My main problem with marvel is that the movies are way too formulaic and they’re pretty much all the exact same look, style, feel and story line. There’s never any actual danger or risk. You just know at the end there’s gonna be some kind of blurry CGI fight scene and everything is going to be fine.

You need to see it, I don't blame him for geeking out, we were in the cinema and there was a huge collective gasp there.

Catch up if you haven't already, like I say the multiverse is exciting.

Read the comics - million times better. Whilst they’re called comics - the depth of characters and quality of writing is clearly targeted at adults.

Has any series, ever in film done what they are gonna do?

A huge cross over from 3 different Spider-Man movies. I can’t wait. Obviously that’s just what I’m thinking is gonna happen, but it definitely seems it, the trailer has foreshadowed it with Dococ saying “hello Peter”.

I have to say... as a lifelong comic collector, although I enjoyed GOTG, the MCU films do not do it for me ...

The X-Men (inc. Deadpool) series of films (apart from the couple of howlers Dark Phoenix and Origins: Wolverine) I enjoyed much, much more.

I don't know how I feel. It feels very lopsided. You have regular superheroes, mid tier superheroes and now god tier superheroes. You lose a sense of jeopardy with some of the more powerful superheroes. And at the same time, the less powerful characters feel redundant with weapon handling being their special gift.

Thor Ragnorok has the best mix of action and laugh-out-loud moments but infinity war/endgame remains my favourite as it brings everything together and has some epic emotional (Spider-Man getting snapped) moments as well as lol moments (Thor meeting Starlord)

All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest

I've tired of them and am definitely suffering from superhero fatigue.

As far as I'm concerned the MCU ended with Endgame and I've moved on. I've not watched anything from phase 4 and it all looks mediocre and preachy.

That being said the absolute best Marvel film in my opinion was The Winter Soldier. It was more mature and darker than most.

I hear you but give phase 4 a chance you won’t be disappointed, well maybe with Eternals

"Also who else is pumped as fuck for Spider-Man?

Has any series, ever in film done what they are gonna do?

A huge cross over from 3 different Spider-Man movies. I can’t wait. Obviously that’s just what I’m thinking is gonna happen, but it definitely seems it, the trailer has foreshadowed it with Dococ saying “hello Peter”."

Yeah they already did it in with the Oscar winning “Enter The Spider-verse” movie 3 years ago

I was always a big fan of Guardians of the Galaxy when I was a kid and the first one was fantastic for me personally
