Somewhere In The Ether…

So who watched it? What did you think? Clearly it wasn’t as amazing as Willy’s Wonderland (but what on this earth possibly could be after all?) but it was good to see him back at least I thought

A great choice of actor for the main villain this season to (he didn’t feature in the first episode though)

It’s certainly picking up now after a slow first few episodes.

I’m very much enjoying it

Incredible, been waiting years for a new season. I’m keen to see where they can go from here (without spoiling anything for those who aren’t caught up) it’s been building to be a big finale I can only imagine how it’s going to end

I didn't watch any of the earlier series... A bit sadistic for my taste if that's the right choice of words... But watched the first few episodes of the latest series... Haven't bothered to keep watching it so I guess it's not to my taste or I'd have kept watching.

Whilst I’m here, on similar lines to Dexter, has anyone watched the film, Bloodline?

Stifler from American Pie turns serial killer/vigilante - it’s rather good

Was dubious at first, thought it could not be as good as the original series but it’s a slow burner and it’s really picked up now!

Plus I really have a thing for the police chief, she makes my tallywacka tingle

Dexter New Blood, How did I not know this was a thing. I really enjoyed Dexter (mostly). Off to hunt this down and add it to my watch list.

As for Bloodline I've just read about it after your recommendation and I'm off to watch that soon as sounds like something I could enjoy. Cheers. Lots of time to watch films thanks to Covid

Not enjoying Dexter New Blood that much - it's really missing his police department work and is one long story, whereas the originals had other stories woven in.

Somewhere In The Ether…

I almost forgot; for fans of films involving serial killers, I watched two absolutely brilliant ones from Korea recently.

The Chaser (fear not, Bradley Walsh does not make any cameos…) and, I Saw The Devil.

They’re both superb (be warned though, the second one especially, is very graphic)

local, but not too local

Anyone know where the later original Dexter series can be seen?

They’ve all vanished from Sky over the New Year.

Are they dubbed or subtitled? They sound very interesting

I watched them both with subtitles. I have since discovered that Korea has produced quite a few modern classics in this genre and am now actively seeking more out

Korea have some amazing horror films, as does Japan. Modern American and British films are pretty poor nowadays.
