pan vs microwave

For things like beans, scrambled eggs, spaghetti & mushy peas.

Pan cooking all the way!!!

Microwave them. No pan to wash and more control on the temperature.

Foods no food if it takes more than 9 mins and doesn't buzz bleep or ping so microwave for me

A microwave! Less washing up, quicker - and won't ever burn And set your smoke detectors off if you get distracted by someone's pics when perving/making breakfast simultaneously!!

My partner uses the microwave more than I do as he can't cook so if theres no left overs he opts for micro meals, I much prefer good home cookin

Yes it is easy to think you get the end results of cooking in a fraction of the time but cooking in a pan can presere the more nutritional elements!

In the kitchens at my work, Microwaves are banned; Chef will not have them at all, under any circumstances. All food is cooked in traditional ways.

I only use a microwave to reheat food I have previously cooked, with the exception of pop corn and green vegetables such as iceberg lettuce, cabbage, sprouts and broccoli.

Totally agree, microwaves nuke the food from inside out. Long term usage and side effects for humans unknown. Although we have one in the house we try to keep the usage to a minimum.

This. I defrost meat in mine too. When I say defrost, I mean take the meat out of the freezer and leave it in the microwave all day, I don't actually turn it on or anything .

i threw my microvave oven away because i hardly ever used it.

you still have to clean it out afterwards, so you dont realy save any time.
