introducing a family member to fab

We came out to my brother in law about 6 months ago, re swinging and other kinks, now, due to his wife leaving him with the kids, to go off with another man, he has been talking about joining fab, for some non complicated fun.

Would you recomend a family member to join fab? would you be worried if you found a member of your family on here?.

you obviously feel comfortable with him knowing so why not introduce him here?

I should have said, we have no issues or worries. lol I just wondered what others thought. as in opening a discussion...

he said he's not sure if he is ready to put up a profile yet, but leting him read the forums and look at some selective profiles lol..

Well you are very open well tell him there will pluses and minuses. But. Tell him to take time out as well travel a bit. Its alright saying fill your boots but a marriage has broken up. In a years time I would tell some one about swinging my thoughts really. Paul

As long as hes going to be aware that its not always uncomplicated fun and can be really hard work for some guys

Just coming out of a relationship thats ended the way it has is going to be hard enough to deal with let alone having to potentially deal with a load of rejection on here too as a single guy

Well firstly, and I'm not trying to be rude, but I think its wrong that you arew letting a non fab member have access to profiles on here and who knows, maybe private pics. That is really indiscreet and I don't agree with it.

I would not introduce a family member to fab. I would be uncomfortable with it, I don't discuss my sexual habits with family members.

Let him decide himself and let him get on with it himself, he's an adult

I have always been open with my daughters. both know what I do.

I am being very careful as to what profiles he is seeing mainly mine and FSMs. . and not showing him face pics.

also explained that its not an easy ride, and that he would have to do this at his own pace, when he is ready and that if he wanted to talk about it, we are here..

I think he is lucky that he is in a position to see the pitfalls and the positives of swinging from someone who is already on the scene. Hope all goes well for him if he decides to take the plunge xx

I have family members on here, but as I have mentioned in other threads, my family, close friends and work know about my lifestyle choices, so personally I don't see that it matters, even if he has some adult banter, it often helps relieve the boredom once the children have gone to bed.

The end of a marriage may seem like a bereavement to some so pointing someone with emotional baggage in the direction of a site where he'll face more rejection doesn't seem wise to me.

Add to that I avoid profiles/men "just out of a relationship" as they tend to be bitter and angry: not ideal attributes for a playmate!

i have family members on here too and it is ok, id recomend the site to anyone i know if its what they are looking for n asked my advice. i dont know what peoples hang ups are? every one has sex and everyone has seen people naked before!

I have introduced a family member on here and do advise her.

It's my oldest daughter and I'd rather she didn't have to hide things. I just make sure I don't meet people she has ( if it can be helped) and don't check her profile.

I told her as much of a balanced outlook on the site and she has been having lots of fun. Only issues I have had is having to educate her on Not taking risks. As she was telling people our address.

So I don't see a problem with it.
