Has anyone used Day Use hotel rooms. Is it discreet?

Thanks

Scott

It's just using a hotel for the day. It's no more or less discreet than using one for the night.

If a couple checks in, I would guess they know what you're up to.

I’ve used them quite a lot, feel free to ask if you have specific questions

We’ve used them a few times.

Makes no difference to the staff what you are up to. They are adults and act in a professional way. They don’t suddenly go all ‘oooh matron’ as you are booking into a room in the day

Stop thinking you are doing something wrong! I’d say a high percentage of rooms booked at hotels there are people having sex in them…

Used travelodge for day use not just for fun but business use where I need to have somewhere to meet. They never ask business or pleasure.

I have a few times with my ex partner yes. I’ve always found the experience to be fine. Well I say fine, it was obviously better than fine but I’m just talking about the checking in etc.

Do the staff know why you’re there? probably. Do they care? absolutely not. Is it any of their business? absolutely not.

I can't possibly imagine anyone seriously going to a business meeting in a hotel room. A suite? Sure - but a room which is at least 50% bed? Hmm.

Day use rooms generally seem to be more expensive than just getting a hotel for the night, so we've never landed up booking one. At least when we've looked.

Don't see why they'd treat it differently to a night stay, mind. Or why you'd care if they did

I've used them extensively, with no issues regarding discretion whatsoever

Marriott, Ibis, Village, Jury's Inn along with Premier Inn (early check-in). Go for it
