Gamers - PS5 or Xbox series X?

Doing some online Xmas shopping.

I know this is probably a close call but which one? All the reviews say they're pretty even xx

Don't cave in to the ebay scalpers! go to a big store like currys and ask if they have any in stock or if you can reserve one, thats how i got my xbox last year just before christmas. They don't put all of their stock online because they know that the scalpers will gobble them up within seconds.

Got a PS5 from Game by following a Twitter account that tracked drops.

Not really used it much but starting to get into Farcry and it seems a decent console.

Both are really good, but XB wins for me this time due to Game Pass.

It's a monthly payment to get access to loads of games, including loads on the day of release.

If you get the Ultimate version, you also get them on PC.

I have an series from day one my brother has a ps5. Ps5 have a good library of games and ps5 plays them well. But my brother tells me he wants an Xbox as the ps5 is only good for games. Xbox has a huge growing library of new and old games and does everthing else very well. not just for gamers

Go on stock informer and select what you want to track and as soon as some are available you will get a notification. That's how I got mine without paying extra

You get put in a queue and then I waited about 30 minutes and it then takes you straight to what's available. I was on there for a few weeks before got lucky but you really have to click the link straight away or got no chance

Personally, I’d go with the Xbox. Games pass ultimate works out a hell of a lot cheaper than outright buying the games, and major releases are done on day one.

Was about to say the same - games pass makes the X-box much more versatile in this sense.

It'll likely come down to availability, and game selection - they'll each have different games exclusive to those platforms. I've seen some things about shops hoarding stock so they might be saving them for Black Friday/ Cyber Monday deals - you'd have to be quick though

Had mine since day 1 and its amazing.

Plus with game pass ultimate you get access to so many games. And early access to some too, previews. New forza

horizon game drops soon, free for those with game pass.

Do you blame hear this place is clecky as and if you fit the mould on the forums people chat to you if you don’t you just get completely icnored people around hear act like suger wouldn’t melt in the mouths all while bing nasty to people for no reason at all
