It's about having boundaries and conversations to explain that unsolicited dick pics aren't appropriate regardless of the setting. A safe space where single guys aren't permitted? It should never need to come to that, that's no different to saying single guys shouldn't be allowed out after dark in case they attack someone. It's basic stuff. It's basic changing of perspectives and showing some understanding. Over the recent year it's been brought to the forefront that almost every woman you know has been a victim of some sort of sexual assault/indecency. Think about that. When you send a dick pic you're sending it to someone who's previously been assaulted. I bet most fellas would say "I'd have never sent it if I'd known" Well, you do know unless you've had your head in the sand for the last 365 days or longer. Does it give it a sense of violation now? Very well made point! Wasn't serious about safe space. I never send dick pics unless asked so when you say you im assuming you as in those that do and not me. You should do something about this and get it stopped otherwise your just saying how bad it is over and over but not saying what your going to do about it. Haven't felt violated, from what I've heard it s not nice I (as in me) cannot change the world and minds, however laying it on the line like this WE as a collective, by not dismissing it and calling people pussies, by having conversations with people we know, by talking to our sons, our brothers, our friends and our families....
