East Sussex

That woman on Gogglebox whose whole room is covered in crochet items? This house will be like that if someone doesn't stage an intervention.

What have you got too much of?

Blankets. Blankets. Blankets. I culled alot, but there's still alot in cupboards. I get attached physically and emotionally and I just can't bring myself to part with them.

Being warm brings me joy.

As an art installation you mean. No harm in that.

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who does that… add earrings, necklaces and a whole host of other accessories my bedroom has been described as Ariels cave… I collect way too much stuff! I have managed to keep the rest of the house relatively clutter free though!

I'm not alone then . I just found a bag of beautiful buttons that I'd forgotten about. I have a LOT of craft stuff too.

Button hoarding is the best, they always look pretty in jars on a shelf too, i've sorted all mine into colours and i've got a shelf thats just a rainbow of buttons in jars, it looks so cute and colourful.

.

Books. It's not even in a charming quaint way, the study is overflowing with stacks of the stuff that don't fit on the bookshelves.

We've now got a few (underestimating here) hundred books and I'm on a strict one in one out policy so have to smuggle them in to the house under the cover of darkness. I can't even face parting with the texts for undergrad/postgrad and at one point I was reading two/three books a week plus critiques.

Stuff. Just stuff.

Every room has too much stuff to be contained solely within it.

It appears I'm hoarding copious amounts of dust and crisp packets.

I live with the crisp packets now.

Another for shoes … I can’t resist

And I’ve got a sinful amount of bikinis

Mr hates throws with a passion so can’t have them … even if I call them blankets lol. When he works away daughters and I get the blankets out and send him pics of us huddled in them
