Bi or gay?

Someone has just replied to my message saying she’s not interested because I’m gay, I replied to correct her and tell her I’m bi and she replied stating that if a man takes cock then he’s gay, it’s irrelevant if he likes women as well (those aren’t her exact words, she didn’t put it as eloquently as that). I’ve never encountered anyone with that view point before and I’m quite shocked that someone thinks like that. Has anyone else ever heard anything similar being said, or does anyone agree with her?

I didn’t notice what her profile said actually, I’ve just tried to check and I can’t access her profile, so it looks like she’s blocked me. If I had to guess though I’d say that she has a different opinion of bi women than she does of bi men.

Yeah, you’re both right, she’s not worth worrying or caring about. I was shocked and angry when I first read it but I’ve calmed down now.

I tend to pity people like her, it can’t be nice having so much nastiness and intolerance swirling around her head all the time.

The worst thing isn’t that she thinks like that, it’s that she felt it was ok to say that to me, without any consideration of my feelings at all.

I see a lot of profiles saying they aren’t interested in bi men and that’s fine as we all have our preferences and I respect them but I’m sure the majority of them wouldn’t completely dismiss my sexuality and tell me I’m something that I’m not.

Many will though, there are tens of threads about it every month

Am I this? Am I that?

Just look at the split in response to those threads
