Is anyone of you who likes writing?

Poems, tales or novels?

Let's share...

I write poems and fiction (mainly thrillers), my books are in shops.

How did you get your work in the shops? Talk me through the process.

Yeah I have a book out with my name on it. Lucky enough to have an agent that believes in me.

I'm terrible at writing, however my daughter seems to have a natural talent for it. She has had a few poems and short stories published.

I used to, started in fanfiction and then started to write a novel but haven’t written a word in about five years now (around the time I discovered online depravity!)

I’ve had my stuff published in a few magazines but mostly I take out my writing fetish on a couple of websites. Sometimes I just make myself laugh, which is enough

I have several unfinished novels, which will never get published as they are likely shit! But I enjoy a day when I can just sit down and write (more usually, fail to outline). Publishing in physical form and getting on a shelf is a) practically impossible, and b) earns most less than a paper round…

I enjoy writing when I'm in the right mood for it and have a decent idea. I entered a short story for children competition last winter and while I didn't finish in the top 3 the organisers were kind enough to print all the entrants in a small book and give them out. Which makes me a very proud published author

I do also have a few naughty stories available online on a different website

I write children’s stories and have been fortunate to have been published. I also write erotic stories and post them here. Most of you seem to like the stories.

It’s a funny thing, but writing is such a small part of my life, I kinda take it for granted.. Very few people who know me even know that I write!

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

Yep. I've got a few books out there, non fiction mostly but one fiction.

Baffles me that people pay for them though!

I use poems to express how I'm feeling and my thoughts. I haven't written any for ages, but have a private blog where I put them when I do.

I enjoy writing. The teacher at a creative writing course I attended encouraged me to try and get a short story I wrote published. For reasons unfathomable to me, I didn't pursue it.

I used to write reviews for rock concerts before procuring a job with an online betting app writing reviews of upcoming boxing matches

I have an unfinished book looking to get binned. Spent the 1980’s and most of the 90’s researching organised crime and its US history from 1900 to 1990.

Wrote it up featuring an A-Z of who is who.

Got bored and left it for a decade only for someone to invent this thing called the internet and Wikipedia and suddenly everything is there so gave it up.

I'd rather read it in a book

I actually am writing one now, but think it sounds better rapped than how the writing looks, if that makes sense?

Just tap into your inner child’s imagination and let it flow through. Quite often the stories come from dreams. Have a go!
