Selfies vs proper photos

all loved up

Okay I am really good at taking selfies or photos with a camera on a timer...

I relax... smile .. look at the camera... yet every time I get photos taken I look like someone hit me with a trout around the face and pull stupid faces and look so unnatural.

Any ideas...???? Xx

I am sure I was once told to look down and then up as the pic was being taken...you'd need to know when it was gonna be actually taken.

I was always told to never look at the camera, always look slightly above, down or left or right of the lens.

I think there's some truth to it.

I really dislike pics of myself and some of the nicer ones I have I wasn't aware were being taken.

I dont understand why you dislike your pics? I have looked and I think the ones on your profile are very photogenic ones. You look great and your only down the road too.

Maybe photo shoot for both of us could be planned to find this theory out properly xx
