How much effort?

How much effort do people make once several meets in with the same person? I am taking as read everyone showers and brushes hair and teeth. (If you don't shame on you!)

What about shaving?

Make up?

Big effort with clothes?

It seems guys default to casual clothes before the women do or is this unfair?

Omg good question, unless they become boyfriends then I lose completely the drive to actually sort myself and be sexy. I tend to always make a lot of effort.

Nice hair, something sexy, nice make up and smelling gorgeous.

I guess I love turning up great and tricking them into thinking I’m actually not a disgusting gremlin generally when I’m by myself

I do love making effort as it makes me feel extremely sexy! X so yes I do it for them but mainly for me!!!

I think I lasted about a year before leg shaving became less militant. I wear makeup 98% of the time. I'm super casual anyway but I had a head shake recently to make a little more effort again.

I think it’s quite sexy at the gremlin stage to be honest

Always. But I do anyway if I’m not meeting. I’d never need to shave specially or paint my nails etc as it’s always done anyway. Casual can still be fine although scruffy isn’t.

Nothing wrong with it but I think most makes an effort at least the first time no? Even if meeting in a pub.

I'm super casual most of my everyday life as working from home but would probably wear a dress for a first meet/social.

I think if you've met a few times then both parties naturally become a bit more relaxed around each other. I mean you still make an effort but, maybe not the attention to detail as the first nervous meet.

I wear casual clothes from the beginning as I live in leggings and only wear light makeup. But I get waxed regularly because I like the smooth feeling and I love getting my nails done. So my effort levels remain fairly constant.

I never wear makeup, unless it's for Halloween, then I go to the N'th degree.

Otherwise, it's a daily shower, clean clothes and I'm a stubble wearer.

Back of Nowhere and Beyond

Shaving is an absolute yes, unless it's a couple of nights or more in which case by the end he just has to handle the tiny spikey hairs unless he wants to grab a razor and have a go himself.

Make up is my armour. I put it on when I'm nervous. Or bored to be fair. So once I'm relaxed I'll likely not wear any, unless we are planning to take pics or I'm feeling a bit crappy.

I always try and wear nice underwear but that's for me, not him, and I might be in a dress and heels, jeans and trainers, leggings, any combination of the above really. Just depends what I want to wear at the time, and that doesn't change. I dress for me unless we have discussed something specific.

Posh

It depends on my playmate. One of my ladies likes me to arrive wearing nothing but a dressing gown which is discarded as soon as the door is closed

In general though I make an effort not just out of respect for the lady but because of personal pride.

I like to be clean, look smart and smell nice. Of course, if you see me in Tesco's on my way home from work I'll look a mess but hey, I've just done a day's work.

But if I"m out with a lady, even if it's to nowhere special, I always make an effort.

I would always make a special effort for a meet as that’s part of it for me and helps me feel sexy.

I generally do try to make an effort with my appearance day to day just because i feel better about myself when I do. I also don’t want hubby thinking I can’t be bothered to make an effort for him

I try and make a bit of an effort because it makes me feel good about myself and less in my head. Plus, if I didn't shave I'd be covered in a light pelt and he wouldn't be able to find my boobs.

I don't really wear makeup - mascara and vaseline if I'm making an effort however I'm going to test run lipstick with him for the MLS - no better way to check transference.

Depends on the person I'm meeting. I'll always shave and put a bit of makeup on, always clean bedding and always decent underwear, but if he's a casual type then I go casual too.

Most of my FWBs have been more concerned with getting me naked than with what I'm taking off, so chances are if I'm wearing lingerie I'm doing it for me, rather than for his appreciation.

With the same person;

Always do my hair and makeup

Always wear nice underwear or at the very least, matching underwear (thats not a given with me!)

Clean Bed

Have beers chilled in the fridge

Wear perfume

Husband will run the vac round and tidy up the house

Febreeze the hell out of the lounge (we have 2 dogs)

I think that there’s something nice about not feeling the need to be ‘on’ and preened after a little while.

It’s like showing a little more intimacy, that they’re comfortable and relaxed with you.

He saw me when I first woke up the very first time I met him, and he didn't run away screaming...if he can cope with that then a bit of stubble isn't going to faze him.

That said, if I'm out of the house then I look presentable and dressed for the occasion...but if we're chilling on the sofa then leggings, dressing gown and fluffy socks are completely acceptable

I had a video call with a friend.. absolutely zero make up.. brushed my hair hours before.. too big,old and stretched knitted dress in a bright orange colour.. I looked like a clementine and first thing he said.. aww you look beautiful. His pupils dilated and his face brightened with smile. ..at the end of the day at some point they do see you without all the "wallpaper" so it's good to know they accept and adore my relaxed and at ease with myself look too.

To be honest I go from hero to zero…I can be in a killer dress and heels or converse and a T-shirt dress, I’ve a quirky sense of style so don’t tend to follow the conventional when it comes to fashion, I like an androgynous look also.

My hair is my thing, it’s always done unless we’ve been rolling about for hours and I look like if fucked my finger in a socket!

Light make up for the daytime meets and maybe a bit more effort on the eyes for a evening

Always shaved/waxed as I can’t stand body hair and depending on the notice of the meet I’ll have matching undies on or maybe none at all, I’m pretty laid back, take me as I am or not at all xx
