If someone gets the urge to tear it's far better they tear a bodystocking for under a tenner than a pair of stockings or knickers that cost three or four times that price (and stockings to fit my thighs are a pain to get hold of too).

Princess Lace Boutique are cheap as chips, but use very soft stretchy thread so they never feel scratchy against the skin. I've always got a variety to hand, so I genuinely don't mind them being trashed.

Back in the day I wore a bodysuit with snaps at the gusset (1992, they were all the go).

Went out, had plenty of cheap drinks at the student union, went to the loo and couldn't do the snaps up afterwards so in a genius moment I tied it in a knot. Not comfortable, but like I said, there was a drop taken.

Got home and fell into a pissed up stupor. The following morning I couldn't undo the knot and my housemate had to cut me out of it with a bread knife because I was desperate for a wee.

Didn't end up in hospital though. That takes some doing.
