Cruise cancelled

Due to fly Saturday to Barbados but my mum failed the health declaration so the whole of our package has been cancelled

Looking for aast minute deal somewhere just to get some sun. Thinking tenerife (the Barbados of the canaries!) any tips on best places for deals. Half board or more if possible.

I don't really know m,uch about cruises but I'm osrry it was cancelled and hope your Mum gets a nice consolation holiday

Just a bit. 3rd time we've booked it and got so bloody close! She had contact with someone last Monday who has since tested positive for covid and put this on her declaration. She had to be honest as sods law is she'd get it on the cruise and it could have invalidated her insurance maybe.

She's triple jabbed, had a negative pcr and lft last week. We needed a pre flight pcr and an lft done at the airport before we get on the plane but p&o and barbodos say that's not enough.

It is what it is. We can't get a full refund, just future cruise credit to rebook.

I love Turkey but looked at the average temp and its not good this time of year which is a shame.

There is a Tui flight from Gatwick on 12th to Gambia and from Manchester on 14th.

No predeparture or arrival tests needed, just proof of vaccination.

Have a look at Hotel Riu Palace Tres Islas in Fuerteventura. I’m staying near by and have walked past a couple of times on the beach. Looks lovely in real life, much nicer that the pics on Tui
